Denise Rettew

Denise Rettew is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor and is pursuing a 500-Hour Yoga Alliance Certification. She is a member of the teaching faculty at Seaside Yoga's Teacher Training Program and also teaches at the Valle Crucis Mountain Retreats. She has her own instructional yoga DVD, Level 1 Yoga Series with Denise, that is a tribute to the late Alice Slattery, a dear teacher and friend to Seaside's community.

After discovering yoga with a video, Denise has been practicing yoga for over ten years and teaching for five. She is inspired by yoga's ability to transform, to heal and to allow each of us the chance to realize our greatest potential. Along with her students, she continues to learn and grow in each class, sharing in the dance of breath and body, exploring what it means to be human and rejoicing in the experience of simply being.
