Thai Yoga Massage Therapists
Erin
Growing up a dancer and a gymnast, Erin experienced first-hand the calming, energizing and therapeutic effects of movement. It was like instant meditation, quieting her Irish-step dancing monkey mind and being a saving grace through some challenging years. She knew she wanted to use this tool to help others, and gaining a degree in psychology and using movement as therapy in the mental health field seemed like a perfect complement. In 2003, Erin completed a pilates certification and 200-hour yoga certification with Seaside Yoga.
She moved to Boulder, CO to learn from more amazing teachers, and in the process, dove into the Anusara yoga community where she learned how alignment can bring higher potential. Erin continued her study and practice of Nuad Boran (known as Thai Massage in the West) and returns to Thailand and each year. It was there where her teacher, Pichest Boontume, taught Erin the most important practice: to stop thinking and start feeling.
Each session is with Erin is sacred and intended as an offering to a higher self. Most of Erin's free time is spent in the ocean, creating beautiful food and practicing acroyoga and thai massage with friends who think she's crazy, but loves her anyway!
Erin is a student and teacher of life, love and joy, and we are grateful to have her as a long-time member of the Seaside Yoga family.
